Come visit the WK Parahockey 2026

In addition to the regular WK Hockey in Belgium & Netherlands 2026, a historical milestone will happen at the same time and in the same host-countries: the first ever FIH Para Hockey World Cup! And at HV Myra we are very proud we will be hosting this WK in Amstelveen.

The 2026 WK Para Hockey will be a 6-a-side tournament for mix gender teams of athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID). It is a very good example of the diversity and inclusivity of field hockey.

There will be 4 days of hockey matches at HV Myra, every day at 10:00, 11:15, 15:00 and 16:15.

The final will be played in Belgium and a third place final in the Wagener stadium. 

Next to the matches there will be all kinds of activities and events.

Naast het reguliere WK Hockey in België en Nederland in 2026 vindt er gelijktijdig en in dezelfde gastlanden een historische mijlpaal plaats: het allereerste FIH Para Hockey-wereldkampioenschap! Wij zijn bij HV Myra enorm trots dat wij dit WK in Amstelveen mogen hosten.

Het WK Para Hockey 2026 wordt een toernooi waarin 6-tegen-6 wordt gespeeld De teams bestaan uit zowel mannen als vrouwen met een verstandelijke beperking. Het is een prachtig voorbeeld van de diversiteit en inclusiviteit binnen de hockeysport.

Er worden vier dagen lang hockeywedstrijden gespeeld bij HV Myra, telkens om 10:00, 11:15, 15:00 en 16:15 uur. De finale wordt in België gespeeld en de wedstrijd om de derde plaats vindt plaats in het Wagener Stadion. Naast de wedstrijden zijn er allerlei activiteiten en evenementen.
